Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi & Transfer to Agra (220 kms | 4 hours) | Half-Day Tour
Your 2 Nights Golden Triangle Tour begins with your arrival at Delhi International Airport. A representative from Unesco Tours India will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Agra in a comfortable, pre-booked deluxe car. Upon arrival in Agra, you’ll receive a traditional welcome at your hotel, where the staff will escort you to your room. Our representative will be on hand to assist you throughout your stay. In the evening, you’ll meet your personal guide, who will accompany you on a sightseeing tour of Agra.
Explore the exquisite architectural wonders of Agra, a city that epitomizes Mughal grandeur. While we have planned an itinerary that covers the highlights, you’ll also have the flexibility to communicate your preferences to your guide. After a day of exploration, unwind and rest at your hotel.
Day 02: Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (250 kms | 5 hours)
After breakfast, a Unesco Tours India representative will assist with your luggage as you prepare for the journey to Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City. En route, you’ll visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar between 1570 and 1585. Despite its brief status as the Mughal Empire's capital, the city’s grandeur remains. Explore the Emperor’s residential complex, the mosque, and the Tomb of Salim Chisti before continuing your journey to Jaipur.
Jaipur, with its rich heritage and vibrant culture, awaits. Founded in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur is uniquely designed to symbolize the nine divisions of the universe, represented by nine rectangular sectors. Your personal guide will lead you to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. In the evening, you can explore Jaipur’s bustling markets at your own pace. You’ll spend the night at a carefully selected hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur Sightseeing & Return to Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur. Your Golden Triangle tour itinerary culminates with a visit to the Amber Fort, located 12 kms outside Jaipur. Originally built by Raja Mansingh and later expanded by Sawai Jai Singh, Amber Fort is a stunning example of Rajput architecture and the former capital of the Kachwaha rulers. Experience the ascent to the palace on the back of a beautifully adorned elephant.
Spend the rest of the day exploring Jaipur’s rich history and colorful markets, which offer a wide array of art, handicrafts, jewelry, textiles, and more. After a day well spent, return to your hotel. In the evening, our representative will assist with your check-out and transfer back to Delhi. You may enjoy lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward flight, concluding your Golden Triangle tour.
